Embarrassing story: There are too many to list!
I have always been curious about people and love hearing (and telling) their stories. In fact I love it so much so that I majored in journalism as an undergraduate. While in college, my aptitude testing suggested that I should actually major in math (or pre-law). At the time, it was hard to imagine a career using numbers and not words; it was only when I landed on the management consulting track that I saw a way to combine my aptitude with my passion. The combination of finding consumer insights and using statistical and research methods was the perfect fit! Over time, I realize how lucky I have been to enjoy a career in the business of understanding people. Beyond that, I am proud of how Appleseed gives back; whether it's our annual Toys-4-Tots campaign, working with students, or helping local non-profits like NBP and Project Hope, it feels good to balance our work with giving.

Embarrassing story: One summer day my family went for a picnic and fishing near a rushing stream. I was afraid my new sneakers would get wet, so I took them off and put them up on a high ledge. Somehow one red sneaker fell off and into the torrent. I started screaming... Imagine my joy a few minutes later when my Dad came walking up-stream with my red sneaker on the end of his fishing line. It was his best catch of the day!
Let’s just say I’m a life-long student. I have several degrees.
